A native of West Monroe, Sam Henry is a graduate of West Monroe High School and completed a degree in Finance from Louisiana State University in 1985. In 1989, Sam received his law degree from LSU, and has been a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association since that year.
Sam began practicing many areas of law, including divorce and domestic issues, personal injury, successions and wills, criminal law and Social Security Disability. Since 2001, Sam has focused only on bankruptcy law, and has represented thousands of clients in this field of practice.
Sam was previously a member of the local LSU Board of Supervisors and is currently a member of the Ouachita Parish Police Jury Commission. In 2009, Sam authored and published a book, “Life? Yes, Please.”
Sam has one son, Cayden, who attends LA Tech. Over the years, Sam has coached and managed many of Cayden’s baseball and soccer teams.
